Volvo S60 Concept

A few days before Christmas, Volvo Cars treats the automotive world to an early unwrapping of a car that will shine bright in the streets for years to come. The Volvo S60 Concept gives the car world a glimpse of what the all-new Volvo S60 is going to look like when it arrives in 2010. 'The all-new S60 will be one of the strongest players in a segment where the competition is razor-sharp,' says Volvo Cars President and CEO Stephen Odell.

The coupe-inspired lines that gave the original S60 its characteristic stance are even more pronounced in the next generation.
'The sporty design gives visual promise of an enthusiastic drive and I can assure you here and now that the all-new S60 will live up to that promise. The driving properties are better than in any previous Volvo. The car's technology will also help you to be a better and safer driver,' says Stephen Odell. The concept car reveals that the Volvo Cars design team is stepping up to the next level in the development of the products' DNA.

'The concept car's exterior gives a clear indication of what customers can expect of the all-new S60. On the inside we've been even more daring - there the focus has been on creating a vision of the future in the slightly longer perspective,' says Volvo Cars Design Director Steve Mattin.

See how it took shape from concept to reality:

New Amazing Tron Car by Timur Bozca

 Tron Car by Timur Bozca

If you are a fan of the Tron Legacy movie that aired last year you should know that it is full with dreaming of the wondrous vehicles. And is no wonder that people would try designing vehicles similar to those in the movie. For example, Timur Bozca, a young and enthusiastic designer has developed the "Tron Car" - a vehicle that seems suitable for any ride on both Earth or Grid.

His car is a combination of the elements found in the movie: it combines a glossy black body with blue neon lines on either side of the car. The car sits on 20" wheels that are also highlighted by blue neon lines.
The concept’s dimension are 4000 x 2000 x 1550 mm and is comes from the future it is an electronic vehicle. The car runs on four electronic Hub Motors that take their power from both battery and power units for charging and storing energy.
And you will be happy to know that this is a family car: it offers interior room for four people.

2015 Audi R4 Preview

Volkswagen’s plans to roll out three production versions of the BlueSport Concept sparked all sorts of discussions on which vehicles would get treated to the design. As of now it looks as if Porsche will be dishing out the 550 (Baby Boxster?) based on the iconic 550 Spyder launched in 1953, Volkswagen will be serving up the Bluesport production model using the concept’s design, and Audi will be treating us to the R4.
The new Audi R4 will only be offered in a roadster version and will take its design inspiration from the E-tron Spyder concept, as well as new design lines that will also be seen in the next generation R8 supercar. It will be powered by a choice of three engines, including the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine featuring a new variable cam and valve lift control system and an output of about 280 HP. The second choice will be a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with an output of about 350 HP and the third will be a twin-turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with an output of about 200bhp and 295lb ft.
Audi will be debuting the new R4 sometime in 2014 with sales starting in 2015 at about $40,000-$45,000.

Supercar Imola Ferrari Sports Cars Concept by John Mark VicenteThe another design by John Mark Vicente: the Ferrari Imola, after the sublime Bugatti Renaissance concept. According to the author, his Ferrari concept car is inspired by the Ferrari F70 created by Randy Rodriguez and the Dino Competizione by Sacha Selipanov.

This time, an Italian one that could give plenty of ideas to the designers at Ferrari. Imola is a spider without windscreen and has a future hybrid Ferrari V6 engine. The designer used triangular and trapezoidal shapes to create the head and tail lights and the grille. The enormous rims and semi-slick tires underline the aggressiveness of the vehicle. This supercar is ready to take on the road monsters like Ariel Atom, Caparo T1, KTM X-Bow and especially the Lotus Elise.
