Monochrome madness in the all new 2010 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Grey Carbon. Proof that raw power is more flashy than canary yellow and a point pushed home by the latest super car wearing the Veyron badge. At first glance it’s a typical million dollar car, except treated with a 50’s TV black and white theme. Carbon being dark grey and grey…being…more grey, oh yeah, and an aluminum bottom molding.
The only color that can be found on the Grand Sport Grey Carbon are the brake lights and starter push button, which even appear to have a hue of grey. The interior is wrapped in the most expensive grey leather, grey dashboard, and polished aluminum trim. The exterior is where the carbon fiber earns it’s place in the super cars name. Not just for weight reduction, the signature grey with dark grey stripes can be found all over the body panels. Even the exposed engine appears to be treated with a spray of grey paint. As expected the over size rims also contain dark grey accents with a polished aluminum face.
At the 2010 Geneva Auto Show Bugatti released a Blue Carbon Grand Sport Veyron, which shares the sophisticated components of the special edition Grey. It’s easy to justify a purchase price of 1.6 million Euros when equipped with this kind of technology. Consider this, the spoiler is wrapped in an electrohydraulic array and and the main support of the Grand Sport Veyron is held together by titanium bolts. Good thing too, because the engine is a balls dropping powerful 16 cylinder mid-engine rocket capable of just over 1,000 horsepower.
