Porsche Cayman R 2011

Porsche’s Cayman R received its official unveiling at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Cayman R is 55-kg lighter than the Cayman S and receives a 10-hp power increase. The Cayman R, which weighs a mere 1,295 kg., has been designed with a 3.4-litre flat-six engine, along with an optional seven-speed PDK gearbox and Sport Chrono package.In terms of design, the black-framed headlights, black exterior mirrors and “Porsche” lettering on the side – in contrasting black or silver, depending on the body colour – take design cues from classic Porsche racing cars.The Cayman R will be available in March 2011.
